Shanghai Weilan NuEnergy Technology Co., Ltd. is a high-tech enterprise, a spin-off from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Based in Shanghai, China, the company specializes in the R&D and commercialization of Small Modular Reactors (SMRs).
By deeply integrating cutting-edge academic research with the expertise of seasoned engineering veterans, the company has built a full-spectrum chief engineer team with deep hands-on experience. This establishes a differentiated core strength in the commercial small reactor sector.
The first-generation design "WL-100" features an integrated configuration - with the reactor core, steam generator, pressurizer and main coolant pumps housed within a single Reactor Pressure Vessel (RPV) and utilizes passive safety technology. It is designed to deliver safe, stable, zero-carbon baseload power for a diverse range of applications, including Al data centers, industrial parks, island or remote regions, and seawater desalination plants.
