Founded in 2025, Weilan Nuenergy Co., Ltd. is a high-tech enterprise focusing on the R&D and application of Small Modular Reactors (SMRs). Its headquarters is located on the 7th South Floor, No. 1300 Cangyuan Road, Minhang District, Shanghai, China.
Led by the former Chief Designer of Hualong One, China’s domestically developed third-generation nuclear power technology, Weilan Nuenergy’s core technical team integrates cutting-edge academic research capabilities from top universities and senior engineering specialists with extensive project experience. We have established a full-fledged chief designer team with profound expertise, forming a distinct and highly competitive core workforce in the commercial SMR sector.
Adopting an innovative R&D model of "Compact Platform, Wide Collaboration", the company cooperates with the full industrial chain of the nuclear industry to develop new reactor types, concentrating on the independent R&D and industrialization of integrated water-cooled small reactors. We plans to complete the design of its first-generation product in the near future and secure the first reactor orders for domestic and international markets.
